At Codity we respect your privacy. This policy explains what personal data we collect, why, and how you can exercise your rights, in line with Colombia's Law 1581 of 2012 and Decree 1377 of 2013 (personal data protection and habeas data regime).
1. Data controller
Codity, operating the domain codity.io, is the controller of your data. For any matter regarding your personal data, write to info@codity.io.
2. What data we collect
- Data you give us: when you use the contact form we collect your name, your email address and the description of your challenge or project.
- Aggregated usage data: we use cookieless analytics that does not identify you individually nor track you across sites; we only measure aggregated site-usage metrics.
3. Purpose
We process your data solely to:
- respond to your enquiries and schedule a consultation;
- follow up commercially if you requested it;
- understand, in aggregate, how the site is used so we can improve it.
4. Authorization
By submitting the form you grant free, prior, express and informed authorization to process your data for the purposes described. You may revoke this authorization at any time.
5. Cookies and analytics
We do not use tracking or advertising cookies, so we show no consent banner. Our analytics are cookieless and aggregated. Web fonts are served from our own domain (self-hosted), with no third-party requests.
6. Who we share your data with
We do not sell or trade your data. We may rely on providers that deliver services to us (for example, email delivery and meeting scheduling) who process the data only under our instructions and only for as long as needed to provide the service.
7. Retention
We keep your data only for as long as needed to fulfil the purpose you provided it for, or as required by law, and then delete or anonymize it.
8. Your rights (habeas data)
As the data subject, you have the right to:
- access, update and rectify your data;
- request proof of the authorization granted;
- be informed about how your data has been used;
- revoke authorization and/or request deletion of your data;
- file complaints with Colombia's Superintendence of Industry and Commerce (SIC).
9. How to exercise your rights
Send your request to info@codity.io stating your name and the right you wish to exercise. We will respond within the timeframes set by law.
10. Security
We apply reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data against unauthorized access, loss or use.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. The current version will be published on this page along with its update date.
